At Mark Williams Auto Group, we pride ourselves on our commitment to making a positive impact. Our Kindness Project 2024 stands as a shining example of what can happen when we unite for a shared cause. In collaboration with EmPath For Autism, we launched a special disaster relief effort to assist those suffering in the wake of Hurricane Helene. The generosity we witnessed from local residents and businesses was truly inspiring.

Lending a Helping Hand: Collecting Essential Supplies for North Carolina

The project began with a simple but urgent call to action: collect crucial supplies for communities in North Carolina that were left devastated by Hurricane Helene. The storm wreaked havoc, particularly in Hendersonville, where families found themselves in desperate need of food, water, clothing, and hygiene products.

Our Kindness Project 2024 drive served as an outlet for the community to support those in need. People from all around the area came together, dropping off donations at our showroom. A special thank you goes to the Tri-State Mustang/Ford Club of Greater Cincinnati, whose generous contribution of more than $1,000 worth of items provided a huge boost to our efforts. Their kindness truly exemplifies what this project is all about.

A Community of Support: Donations and Financial Aid

While physical donations were essential, we also provided the option for financial support. Many community members who weren’t able to drop off items still wanted to help, so they contributed money that was sent directly to the Hendersonville, NC Government’s Hurricane Helene Relief Fund. This ensured that the affected families could get the resources they needed to begin rebuilding their lives.

The response to this campaign was amazing, and thanks to the efforts of countless volunteers, we were able to load a truck with all the collected goods. These supplies made their way to North Carolina, where they were distributed directly to families who had lost so much.

Delivering Hope to Those Affected

The final leg of the Kindness Project 2024 journey involved driving the truck of donated goods to Hendersonville, North Carolina, and witnessing firsthand the profound difference these supplies would make. It was a powerful reminder that when we come together, we can help others in the most meaningful ways.

Our Deepest Thanks

This success would not have been possible without the incredible support from EmPath For Autism, as well as local community organizations like the Tri-State Mustang/Ford Club of Greater Cincinnati. To all of those who donated, volunteered, and spread the word, thank you for making a lasting impact on the lives of families who are struggling.

We are proud to be a part of this relief effort, and we remain committed to future projects that bring help and hope to those who need it most. Kindness Project 2024 may have ended, but the work of kindness is always ongoing.

Thank you for making a difference.
